‘Being President is nothing like reality TV,’ says Michelle Obama in North Carolina

She spoke at NCSU

Michelle Obama appeared in Raleigh today to support the campaign of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.

The First Lady of The United States gave her speech on the campus of North Carolina State University – she continued to emphasize the experience and leadership abilities of Former Secretary of State and also former First Lady Clinton.

“I don’t just campaign for anybody now,” Michelle quipped.

A huge and raucous audience filled the William Neal Reynolds Coliseum Tuesday morning to hear the first lady speak.

“We need somebody who will take this job seriously you guys,” she stressed to the packed crowd in Reynolds Coliseum.

“We don’t need somebody who uses Law and Order quotes, we need someone with actual solutions!”

During her speech Mrs Obama referred to Trump as “her opponent” while also commenting on several controversies the GOP nominee has involved himself in; including but not limited to his tax comments during the debate, misogynistic views of women, and most recently controversial remarks concerning veterans with PTSD.

“Trust me, I’ve seen everything this job requires,” she continued. “Temperament matters, compassion matters, experience matters. Being the President of the United States is nothing like reality TV.”

The majority of the crowd was composed of all kinds of students, many of whom skipped class to attend this event.

“It’s not everyday you get to see the First Lady you know,” I was told by a friend and former classmate who chose to remain anonymous. “I don’t think Michelle would promote truancy.”

“I want to leave one message with all you students,” she added. “The values me and Barack instilled in our children are that you should treat everyone with respect, even if they don’t look or think like you,” she said.
