MSU student found dead in Beech Street house

A Michigan State student was found dead in their East Lansing residence last night.

Police responded to a call from a concerned friend last night at about 11:45 over the wellbeing of his friend.

Officers entered the residence on the 1100 block of Beech Street. The 22-year-old student from Mattawan was dead upon entry of the residence, from what the police describe as an apparent overdose.

East Lansing Police are currently investigating the death.
