BREAKING: Body found on campus identified as missing student

The MSUPD has issued a statement this afternoon that identifies the body discovered yesterday in the Baker Woodlot as MSU senior Patrick Kegan Cochrane, who was reported missing April 9.

According to the statement, the police do not suspect foul play.

MSU community members personally affected by this tragedy or in need of counseling services can find resources at the MSU Counseling Center at http://www.counseling.msu.edu/.

The investigation by MSUPD is ongoing, and they urge anyone with information or who saw Cochrane after 3:15 p.m. April 8 should contact police at (517) 355-2222.
