There was an armed robbery in Montgomery Hall on Sunday night

No one was injured

Two male suspects, armed with a handgun, forced themselves into a Montgomery Hall dorm and stole property on Sunday night, authorities said.

The robbery took place at approximately 8:15 pm on Sunday, when students heard a knock at their door. They opened the door and saw the first male subject, who barged into the room after asking the residents a question, police said. At that time the first suspect pulled out a handgun and a second suspect then entered the room. They demanded property and left. No injuries were reported.

Police arrived at approximately 9:06 pm yesterday after the students reported the armed robbery. They are still looking for the suspects.

The Maryland Police Department sent out a campus wide email about the incident earlier today.
