JMU designated a voter-friendly campus
Only one of 83 in the country!
After the most recent election, The Campus Vote Project and NASPA have designated James Madison University as one of the 83 most voter-friendly schools in the country. To earn the Voter Friendly Campus designation, campuses must submit a plan to them and report the results after implementation.
According to Dukes Vote (the student-led initiative composed of Student Government Association, JMU Virginia-21, College Democrats, and College Republicans), around 2,000 JMU Dukes were registered to vote during the last election cycle.
