We asked Iowa students how they were spending their Spring Break

No class, no homework, no worries

A whole week without having to worry about being on time to class, missing the bus or getting your homework done.

Since Spring Break is coming up next week, I thought  would ask some students what there plans were.

Nazira Coury, Sophomore, International Relations

“The majority of my spring break I will be working at the front desk at Mayflower, yay.”

Cierra Smith, Freshman, Enterprise Leadership

“Going to Colorado with my friends.”

Tristan Schmidt, Freshman, major in Psychology and Music Therapy

“I’m going to Chicago to hit up the good night clubs.”

Cameron Baccam, Freshman, International Studies

Mariama Corneh, Junior, Mechanical Engineering

Emily Beattie, Sophomore, Psychology and Sociology

“Im visiting family in Ohio.”

Mercy Kimaliny, Sophomore, Accounting

“I’m just going back home to Chicago to rest and hang out with my family and study.”

Keaton Judy, Junior, Music Therapy

“I’m going to visit some friends in Ames, and then I’ll be spending a day or two with my sister and her daughters, and I’ll be spending the rest of the week back home in Peoria, Illinois to hang out with friends and my parents.”

Abigail Saucedo, Junior, major in Enterprise Leadership, minor in Business Administration

“I am driving down to Murtle beach, Florida and Fort Dodger, Florida to watch my boyfriend play baseball and to enjoy the sandy beach under the sun.”

Callissa Mescher, Freshman, Psychology

“Going home to visit my family.”

It looks like going home is a recurring theme. As for me, I’m going back home as well.

I can not wait to enjoy all the good food I’ve been deprived from.

I mean.. spend some quality time with family, yeah family . .

Just kidding. I’m going home for the food.

So whether you’re going home to see family (and get some home cooked meals in you) or going on a trip with friends, be safe and have fun! And of course, Go Hawks!!!
