Beginners guide: The easiest classes At U of I

For those of you looking to knock out some General Education requirements

Screen Shot 2016-02-17 at 3.15.03 PMOne of the biggest hassles that comes with enrollment at a university is class registration. How do you balance your schedule? Can you have it easy and still graduate? Are you working too hard? Well, maybe the following list can help you out a little. It’s a list of (what I deem) the easiest classes at the University of Illinois.

Anthropology 101

The easy nature of this class is reflected in the course level. By far one of the easiest classes on this list, it also takes care of THREE goddamn general education requirements.

Astronomy 100

Another easy class that fulfills the University Natural Sciences general education requirement, this already easy class is made even easier since the professor lets you bring your own little course note-filled notecard to every midterm and final.

Basically . . .

Economics 102 (with Professor Vasquez)

If you’re taking Econ 102, then make sure you register early and take it with Vasquez. Vasquez is a quality chap that lets you do your midterms online, where you can essentially access all the answers on Google. Furthermore, he lets you drop your lowest midterm out of the three you already cheated on.

Statistics 100

I think just the name of this class spills easiness. If you can calculate mean, median and mode then you’ll get an A. If you can’t, then you don’t deserve to be at Illinois. If you study for this class, then you’re probably a sorority girl.

MACS 100

If you love watching Netflix or just movies in general, then this is the “easy A” class for you. This class basically entails that you watch movies and analyze them. Maybe a midterm or two in the middle but it’s mostly fun, fun and more fun.

Geology 118 a.k.a. Natural Disasters

This is a course was added to the roster very recently. It’s definitely an easy A and also an interesting class in terms of the content taught. If you’re interested in geology or how natural disasters work, then definitely sign up for this class.
