Carrie Fisher is coming to Harvard next month

Draw out your lightsabers and harness The Force because a Star Wars legend is coming to campus.

Carrie Fisher will be receiving the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award in Cultural Humanism on April 18 in Memorial Church.

Fisher is best known for her role as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy as well as the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The award is being presented by the Humanist Community at Harvard alongside the Harvard College Community of Humanists, Atheists, and Agnostics.

Previous winners include Eddie Izzard, Mary Roach, Seth MacFarlane, and Stephen Fry.

Tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow at noon.
