Would you vote for Harvard Professor Lawrence Lessig for President?

The Lessig you know

Recently, Harvard Professor Lawrence Lessig announced his candidacy in the increasingly crowded 2016 Presidential Election.

Running as a DC outsider and fielding a progressive, albeit somewhat narrow platform, Lessig has captured the interest of the nation, and in particular our campus.

Despite early fundraising and political success, however, Lessig failed to poll high enough to be given a place at the Democratic Debates on CNN. With all this, what do students really think about the professor-turned-presidential candidate?

Hugo, Class of ’18

As soon as he’s my running mate and I’m in the Oval Office.

Taylor, Class of ’19

I would support Lessig, but my vote would be more valuable to one of the major contenders.

Brian, Class of ’19

I wouldn’t vote for him because I don’t know enough about him.

Dustin, Class of ’19

Lessig makes excellent points. His campaign is one of the bold moves that is needed to save politics. On the other hand, it would be hard to vote for someone who would leave office while there are other candidates who are qualified and would stay in office.

Adip, Class of ’19

No, #FeelTheBern2016.

Amin, Class of ’19

I have doubts about his electability.

Parth, Class of ’19

I don’t know much about him as of now so I can’t really comment.
