Embracing the styles of fall

As autumn rolls through, student wardrobes take on new trends, new colors and new looks

The trees are changing around campus, and so are students’ styles. We took a camera around campus to document some beautiful scenery and beautiful people.

Dazzling red on green in the heart of Harvard Yard.

Eleasha Chew ’18, an intended Psychology concentrator in Lowell House, cheerfully makes her way through the Yard in a bold white coat and sturdy brown boots.

Eliza Bird ’19, Annie Goldsmith ’19 and Caden Petersmeyer ’19, residents of Thayer, celebrate the gorgeous weather in puffer jackets and wool.

Lush foliage overlooks the paths beside Widener Library.

Dan Kim ’19 and Austin Weber ’19, both residents of Canaday, stay warm in Harvard-colored winter gear.

Christina Li ’19, a potential Economics concentrator in Weld, laughs shyly in an iconic ‘H’ sweater and vest.

Is this really a college campus, or a national park?

Sam Reed ’18, an intended Statistics concentrator in Mather House, rocks a classic Harvard sweater and timeless denim.

Angelica Chima ’19 and Ogechi Obed ’19, residents of Matthews and Grays respectively, are on their way to a performance art event by the Nigerian Students’ Association.

Hidden away in a secluded corner of campus lies the Peabody Museum, along with a serene picnic spot.

Peter Wright ’19 and Darwin Yang ’19, both residents of Grays, opt for light sweaters – both patterned and plain.

Steven Ban ’18, an intended Chemical and Physical Biology concentrator in Cabot House, ponders why the leaves all want to mimic the color of his shirt.

The spire of Memorial Church stands proudly in the autumn sun.

Let’s hope winter never comes.

Here’s a squirrel.
