Georgetown isn’t just for four years, it’s a lifelong commitment. Luckily our Hoya Saxa community is ranked as one of the most best and powerful alumni networks, with G-Town’s network ranking at 14th out of 50 colleges and universities.

Best College Values compiled data such as financial contributions, employment after graduation and student ratings of network helpfulness. The site also used LinkedIn to measure the size of the alumni base that have senior positions.

To no one’s surprise Georgetown was high up on the list. We were placed 14th, with an impressive overall score of 26.00 (whatever that means).

As the article describes the prime location that we get to call home, it also includes a little blurb about the enormous connections we get to look forward to as graduating Hoyas.

We have alumni in all 50 states and over 100 countries, an extremely positive aspect to keep in mind before panicking about future employment.

Georgetown alumni are known to be extremely involved with their home on the hilltop and show a clear passion for giving back to the community that made up four incredible years of their lives.

This network extends further than just a professional environment as we have “more than 80 regional clubs for members to socialize on a local level” as well as online directories to help both professional and personal aspects of a GU graduate’s life.

Just one more thing to add to the list of Georgetown perks.
