Coliseum is closing and Bajas is coming back

After 5 years of wild Saturday nights, it was confirmed yesterday that Coliseum will be permanently closing in August.
In a Facebook post from the club's main page, management announced that Coli will close August 7th ahead of scheduled re-development and will be replaced by several new stores, including a SuperTarget, set to be finished in 2018.
However, the Facebook post also announced that with the closing of Coli comes the return of a Tallahassee staple: Bajas Beach Club, which closed in December of 2014. Bajas' Facebook page, which had previously been inactive since its closing, has now been updated with a profile picture that says, "Keep calm, coming soon."
Although it's devastating to lose an icon like Coli to the throes of overdevelopment, at least we get Bajas, and more importantly, $5 Fridays back.
