Police investigating FSU bomb threat
Students emailed their concerns to FSU PD
FSU Police are investigating a possible bomb threat on campus.
A post on Reddit by the user “bomb_on_campus” this morning said “Guess What? :)” and “Yep.”
FSU PD have yet to determine whether the threat is viable.
Public Information Officer Jim Russell told The Tab: “We will do everything in our power to investigate further. We are not going to alert the students until we identify it as a viable threat.”
Comments on Yik Yak this morning pointed it out, adding the Reddit account had only been created 15 minutes before posting. It has since been taken down.
FSU PD is in contact with Reddit to find out who the user is. They are taking the post seriously, however since there is no time, date, or location specification there is no further information that leads them to believe this is a credible source at this time.
