How much have your FSU professors donated to presidential candidates?
Ever wonder who your professors are supporting?
By far Hillary Clinton won the support of the majority of the professors who’ve donated. With $9,500 from 5 donors, and having the most donors giving the maximum amount ($2700), Hillary won the hearts of our faculty. The only other candidate to receive maxed out donations was Jeb Bush, a waste of $2700 now.
Aside from the 6 candidates mentioned, none other of the 23 candidates received any donation. Most of the faculty shouts “I’m With Her” rather than “Feelin’ the Bern” or think we need to “Make America Great Again”.
What was really interesting was every donor of all the Republican candidate were men. And of the 4 women who donated, 3 gave to Clinton and 1 gave Sanders. And majority of the faculty voted Democrat.
If Hillary becomes president, try asking for extra credit or an extension around election time, most likely your professor will be in a good mood.
