Bernie gatecrashed Rubio’s alma mater – and they LOVED HIM

Do Gators love Bernie more than they love Rubio?

With less than 48 hours notice, Gainesville Bernie supporters helped organize an amazing rally that brought thousands of students, veterans, and even families.

The crowd gathered as early as 5:30am in University Village South waiting for Bernie Sanders to arrive. Our reporters covered the event and captured all the moments of UF and Gainesville feeling the Bern.

Senator Sanders was introduced by Tulsi Gabbard, a veteran, as well as the first Hindu member of the US Congress. She gave a brief talk about the difference between Sanders and other candidates, focusing on Sanders opposing intervening in international wars and instead supports focusing on rebuilding the American middle-class.
