Cam Newton is successful because he went to UF

Cam = Gator = winner

Tonight Cam Newton will lead the Carolina Panthers to a victory at the Super Bowl 50 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

If you don’t know who Cam Newton is by now, then you need to catch up. He’s just been named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2015 season and he also keeps giving footballs to adorable children when he’s not supposed to.

Most importantly, Cam Newton was originally a Florida Gator.

Cam played for the Gators in the 2007 and 2008 seasons as the back-up quarterback for Tim Tebow. He transferred to Blinn College in Texas after being arrested for possession of stolen property and ultimately ended up at Auburn for his senior year, where he won the Heisman Trophy.

So why do I think the Panthers quarterback will take down the Broncos tonight?

Plain and simple: Cam Newton has had a successful football career because he attended UF.

It’s no secret that our football program produces absolute legends who enter the NFL. Think Emmitt Smith, Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, Cris Collinsworth, Wilbur Marshall, Steve Spurrier and more.

Everything the UF football program touches turns to gold, including Cam Newton.

Analysts across the board are picking the Panthers as the favorite to win the Super Bowl this year for one reason and one reason only: Cam fucking Newton.

The evidence is there and it’s so simple a FSU student would agree with it:

  1. Cam Newton attended UF
  2. UF students are winners
  3. Therefore, Cam Newton is a winner

Newton is undisputedly an impressive quarterback and has successfully led his team to the Super Bowl after finishing the season with a 15-1 record. Newton has made a strong showing this year and was named the AP Offensive Player of the Year in addition to being named the NFL MVP.

Although Cam Newton only attended UF for two years, it is obvious those years had an influential impact on his success and progression to his current status in the NFL.

At the end of the day, all UF students are winners.
