Winter fashion has officially hit campus

Ladies and gentlemen pack away the shorts

While blizzards have overwhelmed the northern East Coast, Floridians have enjoyed moderate temperatures and sunny afternoons – which are still very cold for Florida.

The weather has resulted in a transformation in campus style, which means it is time to put away those tank tops and flip flops.

UF students have taken the opportunity to wear warm coats and boots since the occasion rarely presents itself. Winter fashion staples have been popping up while the temperature has been dropping. Here are the best winter looks The Tab has seen around campus:

Angela Locarno, second year Sociology major

Christina Carter, first year Computer Engineering major

“My favorite winter fashion trend this year is knee high socks.”

Sochima Mbadugha, second year Finance major

Ana Teran, second year Telecommunications major

“My favorite winter fashion trend this year is over the knee boots.”

Dori Schrock, first year Industrial Engineering major

Michaela Kaplan, third year Telecommunications major

David Rezaei, fourth year English major

“My favorite winter fashion trends this year are leather jackets and suede Chelsea boots.”
