Dartmouth for Hillary campaign may have been critical to Hillary’s success
Hillary did much better in Hanover than in other parts of NH
While Bernie Sanders was the clear winner of the NH primaries, Hillary Clinton had small wins throughout the state. Overall, 60 percent of all votes went to Sanders, with 38.3 percent of votes going to Clinton.

Hillary did much better in Hanover than in New Hampshire generally. Why was Hanover such an outlier in the NH primary?

While still falling behind Sanders in the polls, Clinton received a much larger percentage of votes than Sanders in Hanover than the entire district of NH. Ultimately, I believe that her success can in large part be contributed to the hard work of Dartmouth student volunteers, who spent months phone banking and canvasing for Clinton in the area. Congratulations to all of the Dartmouth student voters and volunteers for their work!
