Hunter East is flooded, literally
We are not surprised
Whether it’s the escalators malfunctioning or the cafeteria shutting down, there’s always something wrong at Hunter.
Today, flooding shut down the East Building, causing electrical shortages and power outages.
Refugees from the library have started crossing over into Hungary, Germany and Greece.
Some Hunter matriculants felt the deluge of the East was too hilarious to take seriously.
20-year-old Psychology major Mo said: “I had to swim to get my book.
“I’m surprised it took so long.”
Others prophetically foresaw the marine plight.
Asking political scientist Mohammed, 21, if he was surprised by the aquatic events, he said: “No, because in a school this old, that has to run 24 hours so often, it’s hard to fix it.
“So it was bound to happen.”
Who said we wouldn’t get flooding in NYC this hurricane season?
