Cornell is one of the most sleep-deprived schools in the country

Who’s surprised?

Cornell is among the most sleep-deprived schools in the country, according to data collected by fitness tracking company Jawbone.

According to the data, Cornell students usually head to bed around 1:12am and average about 6.81 hours of sleep per night.

Jawbone noted a relationship between bedtime on weeknights and placement on the US News and World Report’s 2016 ranking, reporting: “The tougher the school, the later the students go to bed, with Columbia and UPenn having the latest bedtimes.”
