OkCupid thinks we’re the 8th hottest top college in the States

We think you’re pretty cute too, OkCupid

Recently, OkCupid, the self-proclaimed “best dating site on Earth,” ranked us the eighth hottest college in the US, based on the number of likes we get.

So what does this information truly mean? Do we just use OkCupid more than students at other top schools?
Are Cornellians more desperate to find a match? Do their findings really say anything about our school as a whole?
Either way, being the eigth hottest, smart school certainly is not information I want to dispute.

So now that Cornell is officially hot, does this mean we need to start a clique with other hot schools like Duke, Brown and Vanderbilt (all of which are tied for third most attractive)?

Or should we associate ourselves with less attractive schools like the California Institute of Technology and MIT so we’re even HOTTER by comparison? What’s the protocol here? We’re new to this.

Perhaps what’s most interesting about this recent information is that officially Cornell is better* than Harvard.

There you have it, Cornellians. A little confidence booster for the day. Next time you leave for your 8:40am class without putting on make-up, or order the Bear Sampler at Nasty’s and feel gross or insecure, just remember somewhere out there, someone on OkCupid would probably hit “like” on your profile. You’re welcome.

*In this context, the term “better” is qualified as one’s ability to click “like” on a dating website.
