Cornell ranks top 30 in the world for research

The sixth highest out of the Ivies

Cornell is the 21st best school in the world for research, according to new rankings.

We received a global score of 78.9, ahead of institutions like Northwestern and University College London (who?).

This is the sixth best for the Ivies, Harvard taking first.

Columbia made it to the top 10 at number nine, and Princeton landed the 13th spot while Yale and University of Pennsylvania tied for 14th.

Cornell beat out Brown, which just barely made it to the top 100 coming in at 99, and Dartmouth, trailing behind at 231.

The rankings came from almost 60 countries “based on 12 indicators that measure their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations.”

So remind me again why people call us the worst Ivy?
