Columbia summer street style

Best dressed on Columbia’s campus

Over summer we had some great fashion here on campus, so we thought we’d show you what we’ve been seeing.

Here are a few fashionistas we found strolling through Columbia, sporting trends from feminine pastels to some real New York swag.

Irene Liu, 21, Beijing, China

Showing some edge with a scarf tied like a choker and lace up sandals, while keeping a feminine feel with her sparkly pink midi skirt.

Left to right:

Amani Garvin (She/her/hers), 18, West Orange, NJ

David Sierra (They/them/theirs), 20, Millbury, OH

Amana and David throw it back to the nineties with tees, denim and chucks.

Lovely, 23, New York, NY

Lovely uses a pair of classic denim overalls as a background to a festival of color on her crop top and accessories. Wait here while I fawn over here fluorescent orange Saint Laurent Sac du Jour. *Swoon*

Left to right:

Natalia Rocha Moraes, 30, and Anna Beatriz Moraes, 29, both from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Natalie and Anna have styled the same lace-up espadrilles in different ways. Natalie keeps in classy in a knitted top and midi-length skirt, while Anna stays fun and flirty in a bold coloured slip dress.

Siddharth Venkataramakrishnan, 22, Chennai, India

Siddharth somehow channels dad vibes but still keeps it young and fun. You can never go wrong with a button up and well-worn denim. #DadKnowsBest

Matthew Paul Bouccheri, 51, New York, NY

Matthew is an original New York cool kid, having grown up in the LES and attended school on the UWS. His style shows some real personality, from his fedora accented with colourful feathers to his vintage glasses.
