College Magazine has ranked Columbia the #1 school for falling in love, citing a near-perfect male to female ratio, a small student population and an exciting New York City scene.
“If you’re not grasping your love’s hand during the latest Broadway musical, stroll through Central Park when the wind feels just perfect enough to blow your hair in your face and make you look like a model,” the ranking reads.
The University also receives merit for their reproductive health services and outreach programs which provide birth control, pregnancy counseling and HIV testing.
Grad student Jovan Hannah says the lawn in front of the Butler library makes for a perfect picnic date.
“It highlights the most beautiful parts of campus, and the best part about it is that you can plan that around your studying schedule.”
