BU finally rescinded Bill Cosby’s honorary degree.
Cosby is accused of raping multiple women, yet still holds high status positions and honorary degrees from multiple universities.
BU was one of those universities until now.
President Brown just circulated an email with the announcement.
It’s sad it took this long, but they did the right thing.
We’re finally starting to send the right message to victims of sexual assault.
So, thanks BU. We’re on our way to stopping victim shaming, one rescinded honorary degree at a time.
