Mugar Library was evacuated earlier today
This is what happens when you try and study. There’s a false alarm
Around 3pm today students were interrupted when the fire alarm went off.
The obnoxious sound urged people to immediately start leaving the library. A few students waited until someone eventually kicked them out.
The whole building was evacuated leaving over two hundred students and staff in the cold.
Police and firemen were at the scene and made everyone stand outside for 15 minutes while they investigated the library.
Most students thought it was a drill which is why they were hesitant to leave, while others believe the incident to be real and left hastily.
The Boston University Police Department has confirmed it was just a false alarm.
