How Yik Yak trolled some kid in 11C Warren Towers

A monkey took someone’s phone on 11C

“We got bored and had an hour to burn, so we decided to catch predators on Yik Yak.”

It all started with a prank post by a guy on the 11th floor.

There had been an hour long back and forth of multiple yaks and replies by one of Warren Towers’ tenents when he interrupted some Patriots fans during the game.

“Hey guys, I think I just invited some people to our floor.”

When he said check Yik Yak, the invitation was clear.

A few minutes later, another guy on came bursting into the room and told everyone to check out what he posted on Yik Yak.

To say the least, the room started getting worried.

It didn’t stop there.

Soon, there were more Yik Yaks posted about the innocent 11th floor.

They started off by saying exactly what was going on, but the replies and other yaks started getting a bit more interesting.

It wasn’t surprising the RA was probably pitching in too.

But it turns out that things were just getting started.

Someone actually went to 11C to put a sign up outside the elevator.

The posts kept pouring about 11C and this sign.

Let’s be honest, whoever wrote this sign really needs to work on writing something that doesn’t look like chicken scratch.

It became a big enough topic that people got confused and needed help to understand what was going on. Whoever wrote the first reply knows what’s up.

Some people on the floor didn’t know what was happening.

Turns out it was actually 11C that started this.

And to whoever keeps talking about a monkey taking someone’s phone, sadly, that didn’t happen (but that would have been awesome).

The two guys who started this summed all of this up by saying, “we got bored and had an hour to burn, so we decided to catch predators on Yik Yak.”

So on a different note, yes, you can summon people on Yik Yak, so do be careful.
