The best of BU this week

From rats in dorms to red cups at Starbucks

The first week of November usually means a shift from sexy costumes to christmas decorations.

At BU, it has meant so much more.

Coming to you from the core of Comm. Ave, these are the most BU things to happen this week.

We beat Northeastern at hockey

We won 5-4 and made some annoying Husky fans cry.

And someone admitted what we were all thinking

Students discovered Questrom has a gender neutral bathroom

(It’s on the third floor)

Rat City was a legitimate thing

Guys at 1019 Comm. Ave had some unexpected visitors.

Kelly Gore was looking cute on Comm. Ave

Those boots and that jacket are a sure fire win for our stylish person of the week.

Social media blew up with fall photos

The weather was especially nice and people were confused.

Spectre, the new Bond film came out

The next instalment of the James Bond films, Spectre, premiered on Friday, but Wednesday night, some BU students were lucky enough to go to a pre-screening at AMC Loews.

Yasmine, 18, Journalism
“I’m hearing people say it was mediocre but it wasn’t! It was good. It’s what it’s supposed to be.”

Sabrina, 18, Film and TV
“All in all I thought it was alright, it was a fun movie, but at the same time I don’t think I would see it again. It was very typical and they could have done more with it.”

Sanjeev, 20, Film and TV
“The entire point of Spectre with M and Moneypenny and all that, is a throwback to old Bond. The plane scene, the weird crazy shit in the beginning, even the music. They did what they set out to do. I get why people might not like it and why it got a 67 percent on Rotten Tomatoes because people are expecting Skyfall or Casino Royale, and it’s not that. It’s not meant to be that.”

Red cups are back at Starbucks

#BURedCup

BC getting bashed on Yik Yak

Classic.

It was the start of some hairy situations

With No Shave November into it’s first week some brave guys are looking sexy with stubble.
