Brown ranked in the top 20 schools in America

Despite no jump in rankings, Brown stays strong at #14

While not ones to brag, we Brunonians certainly do have a lot to be proud of, as Brown University has officially been declared the 14th best university in the country.

In the most recent US News and World Report rankings, Brown ranked 14th among 300 schools in the National Universities category, placing us in the top 20 schools in the United States.

We have maintained the same spot as last year, a four-way tie with Cornell, Rice, and Vanderbilt.

The holy Ivy Trinity – Princeton, Harvard, and Yale – as well as Columbia, MIT, and the University of Chicago, round out the top five.

US News created their rankings on graduate outcomes (year-by-year completion and graduation rates), the number of students receiving Pell Grants, faculty resources, student satisfactions, financial resources, expert opinion, student excellence, and alumni giving.

It’s always good to be reminded that Brunonians are truly the best and brightest.
