Brown rated one of the most ‘tree-hugging vegetarian’ schools in America

And one of the most LGBTQ friendly

The Princeton Review just published its college stats and rankings for 2017, finding Brown to be one of the most liberal schools in the country.

According to the Review, Brown is the 20th most liberal – the most liberal in the Ivy League – and also the 15th most “tree-hugging vegetarian” school in America.

Good news: we’re also the 10th most LBGTQ-friendly in the nation, 11th for colleges that pay you back, and 20th for best quality of life.

Brown ranks behind many small liberal arts colleges in the North-East in these categories, but fares far better than most bigger research universities and our Ivy League counterparts.
