Discover Brown’s new record label, Benevolent Records

It’s a unifying body for the music community

Benevolent Records, brainchild of freshman Lindsay Sack, is ready to take off after receiving university approval. The label was created in an effort to promote and showcase Brown’s (and RISD’s) music scene, as explained in the mission statement:

Benevolent Records is the first student-run music label at Brown and aims to allow students to gain hands on experience in the music industry, in areas such as marketing, production, media and branding. At the same time, it will be a platform for a wide range of artists to find support and, eventually, record and produce their own projects.
