Brown students want to change the world
More than any other Ivy
Changing the world – isn’t that what we all dream of? According to Business Insider and The Princeton Review, Brown students strive to do just that. We ranked number 7 out of the top 25 American student bodies working to make a difference, and number 1 in the Ivy League.
Brown students say they “feel a responsibility to serve society in meaningful, thoughtful capacities” and the University offers “a vast array of programs, fellowships, internships, and project opportunities.”
From environmental initiatives to social justice programs, Brown’s student body is committed to making the world a better place with the help of entities like the Swearer Center for Public Service and BIG (Brown Environmental Group).
Let us now embrace our “hippie” reputation and keep pushing for meaningful change.
