Brown is the fifth most sexually healthy campus

We’re healthy and we know it

Brown placed fifth out of 140 schools in Trojan Condoms’ 2015 sexual health report card rankings, coming in at number one in the Ivy League.

Oregon State University is first in the nation for the second year in a row, while BYU brings up the rear.

The best and the worst of 2015

The annual study “calls attention to the state of sexual health resources on college campuses nationwide” and surveys quality of sexual health and information resources, contraception availability (and its cost), availability of STI testing, outreach programs, sexual assault resources, hours of operation and allowing walk-in appointments.

Overall, sexual health has improved since the study first came out. In 2015, the average was 3.0 out of 4.0 compared to 1.9 in 2006.

In the 10 years since the study was introduced, Columbia has been the most consistently healthy, with eight appearances in the top 10. Brown is right up there, with seven in 10 years.

Don’t be silly, protect your willy

Hopefully we’ll get up there again next year.
