How to have an effortless Halloweek

Planning your costume shouldn’t be the scariest thing about your weekend

There are four categories of people at Brown:

1) Those who are with it and have already thought of and bought their costumes a few weeks ago.

2) Those, like myself, who haven’t thought of what they are going to wear.

3) Those who thought of what they want to wear and then remembered midterms (sorry).

4) That one person who is too cool for Halloween so they’re going to wing it and look fabulous.

I decided to make it a little easier for those of us who aren’t too sure what we’re going to wear, or those of us who just don’t want to spend money on a costume we will never wear again. I have put together three different makeup looks with things I mostly already owned.

Witch Better Have My Money

What I used:

Lipstick – Barry M Cosmetics #37
Eyes – Kajal & Sleek Au Naturelle Palette
Contour – Cover FX contour kit

Bite Me

 What I used:

Lipliner – MAC Nightmoth
Lipstick – Chanel rouge allure 104
Eyes – Black eyeshadow
Face – White face paint and blood from Savers

It’s Barbie, bitch!

What I used:

Lipliner – MAC Chestnut
Lipstick – Fresh sugar tulip and MAC Viva Glam II
Lipgloss – MAC plushglass ample pink

These looks were super easy to create and just required patience and imagination.

Happy Halloween!
