Why University of Arizona’s traditions are the best

Nothing better than a WildCat

The University of Arizona offers so much excitement and adventure within the four short years. There is never a dull moment on campus, as there is always something going on. UofA traditions have been keeping this campus lively from day one.

Homecoming

One of the biggest events on campus for students and returning alumni, Homecoming is full of crazy fun stuff. Our big football game, bonfires, grilling and tailgating and of course the lighting of A mountain.

Spring Fling

This is probably one of my favorite times of the year, maybe because I’m a little kid at heart but who doesn’t get excited about fun fairs?! The entire mall is filled with fair rides, games and student fair food booths.

ZonaZoo

We are known to have one of the craziest student sections out of many colleges and let me tell you, I’ve never disagreed with this statement. We are a rowdy bunch of fans and we love our sports teams. BEAT ASU!

Ringing of the U.S.S. Arizona Bell

At the start of each School day (8am) the grand ol’ bell rings a little melody throughout the entire campus. Every hour and sometimes half hour, it rings and it really helps keep up with time of the day.

Wilbur and Wilma

Couple goals! They are the cutest school mascot couple there is out there. They attend almost every single sporting event together and really get the crowd pumped up. They enjoy making people smiling and even throw in a quick smooch here and there for their fans.

Traditions are more then just fun but they are what makes our memories at the University of Arizona so unique from other colleges. All wildcats bear down and share the school spirit that we became a part of.
