Gunshots and screams heard on campus last night

Bullet casings and blood were found on the scene in the aerospace area of campus

At approximately 8 PM on the night of April 27, University of Arizona Police responded to a report of shots fired followed by screams near the Keating Building on campus.

Shell casings and blood were found on scene by officers, according to ABC News and the Associated Press.

UAPD immediately sent out alerts to students warning them to stay away from the area.

A secondary alert described their person of interest as a 5’10” male with a Chicago Bulls hat, spiky hair, white shirt, khaki pants, and a tan backpack. The UA alert also urged students to “call 911 if you see this man.”
