I'll never forget the Dom and Georgia argument
There’s been loads of drama born out of Perfect Match, but most of it happened after filming wrapped up. Whether it’s Dom and Georgia from season one, or Harry and Jessica on season two, it became seriously juicy and I simply must revisit those crazy moments.
Dom and Georgia
Turns out Dom and Georgia weren’t a perfect match in the long run, even though they won season one! The relationship ended due to distance and commitment issues, and Georgia later dated Harry Jowsey, which led to more drama in a new season.
Georgia claimed Dom never communicated his feelings about the podcast to her and that he was also seeing other people. Dom came back for season two, and just in case you thought there was any underlying tension in his friendship with Harry, they still hang out.
Harry and Jessica
Harry seemed pretty committed to Jessica, but there was a huge scandal when Melinda claimed that he kissed her multiple times. It wasn’t caught on camera other than a clip of Harry carrying her to the bathroom twice, and she wouldn’t back down.
“No one saw it,” he tells the group. “That was fake news. I did not kiss her. Where’s the video evidence?” Harry later told Jessica he was too playful during the boys’ party and carried Melinda to the toilet, who said she “couldn’t wait for the truth to come out.”
He accused Melinda of trying to lie about what happened earlier in the day. Jessica didn’t believe him at first but eventually forgives him, and Harry tells Dom Melinda initiated the kiss, but he turned away. In the end though, he admitted he was unfaithful.
As for when the show ended, people thought he may have been dating his Dancing With The Stars dance partner, Rylee Arnold, but speaking on his podcast Harry said this wasn’t the case, as he was secretly dating someone else at this time. He said “it fizzled out”.
Micah and Kaz
Micah believes that, while she doesn’t regret her time with Kaz on Perfect Match, their romance was “meant to live and die” there. After matching up with Micah, he ended up flirting with Holly, Brittan, and Christine, and matched with the latter, before returning to Micah.
Micah confirmed to Tudum: “Our relationship stayed in Mexico where it was meant to live… and die,” she said, adding that she needs contact lenses “ for my colour-blindness because I do not see red flags.” She’s since moved on with boyfriend Philippe Langlois.
Bryton and Elys
Bryton and Elys broke up because a lot of drama apparently went down after filming season two. At first, she matched with Harry, but when he moved on with Jessica, she moved on to Justin… and then Bryton.
Elys told Tudum that the relationship was formed on “terrible judgment on [her] behalf” and that they split because of “a lot of drama after filming.” She later went on to date Nathan from Too Hot to Handle season three, but they ended up breaking up.
Louis and Huda
Okay, so Huda was actually on Love Island USA, but Louis Russell making his relationship with her red carpet-official kind of ruined the entire outcome of Perfect Match. Rachel Recchia claims the move was “selfish” as they only had two weeks until the episodes were out.
