Phew! We have finally received the answer to why Alyssa Edwards decided to punch Trinity The Tuck in the ear on a RuPaul’s Drag Race tour in 2019, as if we haven’t waited patiently for six long years. They kept it a secret for years, until Bob The Drag Queen mentioned it.
Basically, Bob The Drag Queen first mentioned the drama on the Sibling Rivalry podcast in 2022, which was later confirmed by Alyssa. Rumours that Alyssa and Trinity The Tuck had beef during the Christmas 2022 tour had been going round for months at the time.
Trinity The Tuck has now told Monet Talks that the whole thing came out of nowhere during a Christmas tour, precisely the 2019 Murray and Peters tour. Trinity said: “She punched me in the ear. This was a one-sided fight, I did not hit her! I didn’t even know she was upset!”
“You know how drag queens just banter? [Alyssa] is one of those girls who does banter! And so I thought that’s what we were doing. I thought she would get me and then I would get her with a comeback,” Trinity, who won All Stars season four, revealed.
Trinity continued to reveal: “I bought up the fact that I had beaten her in a pageant, and I was just kidding, because she’s also beaten me in a pageant, so it’s not like I’ve just beaten her. She’s beaten me. I didn’t say anything mean.”
“I genuinely do not remember all of what led to that, other than I was laughing, and we were kiki-ing, and girl… A punch to the ear, honey. And she did pick me up and slam me, but it was into a case of waters,” Trinity finally concluded, saying they’ve worked it out since.
The two are now on “good” terms, despite the feud. Alyssa has spoken out about it herself and told host Batty Davis at Roscoe’s Tavern, “I punched the lady in the mouth, b****.” There were a few girls backstage… I think the girls were indulging in [alcohol].”
She added: “One thing led to another, and it’s like ‘Girl, ok this is fun, get off me.’ And then ‘I’m gonna tell you one more time girl, get off me.’ And then, it wasn’t a brawl, it was a one-two step. And then it was like, oh my god, I can’t believe I did that.”
