Wait, this Love Island USA star must be in there for love because he makes $35K a month?!
He definitely doesn't need the prize money
TJ entered Love Island USA as a bombshell, but he appears to genuinely want love or fame – because he already has thousands from Airbnb. That’s because he doesn’t need the prize money, considering he earns $30K a month, which is already over 30% of the $100K prize money.

TJ revealed that “went from $0-35k/mo in under 5 months with Airbnb Arbitrage” on his business Instagram. He often shares videos of how he “made his dream” and now spends most of his days travelling the world while earning an income through real estate.
He made his money through having a small circle, big dreams, and hard work, apparently, and says that “nothing is stronger than a man trying to build his dream life.” TJ also added that he’s been going through “five years of pain for 50 years of freedom.”
He’s a successful real estate entrepreneur
TJ made his first Airbnb rental in September 2024, revealing that he’d like to rent more in the future – 99 of them, to be exact. He calls himself a “six-figure Airbnb host” – but it wasn’t always easy, because he started testing loads of business models in 2021.
He then had a breakthrough with a women’s clothing business two years later, where he reached $3K in sales through millions of video views and no paid advertising. TJ felt like traditional jobs were a trap and decided to join Airbnb Arbitrage, which focused on networking.
TJ said in May 2024, “I was obsessed, calling landlords in-between baseball practices, studying it, and understanding everything about Airbnb.” Then, in August, he looked into securing his first property, which was a “calculated risk that paid off big time”.
