Omg, Love on the Spectrum’s Dani started her own business at 14 years old?!
She's been pulling all-nighters for years
Dani Bowman is a fully fledged Netflix star, but it turns out that’s not what she’s all about – her animation business isn’t just a side hustle. We may have all come to know and love Dani through Love on the Spectrum, but she’s been putting in years of work outside the show, and now, she has a successful business to show for it.

Love on the Spectrum’s Dani launched a business at 14
It’s clear to see that Love on the Spectrum’s Dani is a go-getter. She’s putting herself out there and taking a big plunge, hoping to find love on a world-famous TV show.
But, when it comes to some of her other life achievements, it seems Love on the Spectrum is nothing.
The Netflix star launched her own business at just 14 after her aunt and uncle noticed her talent for animation.
Speaking on Bruce Nachsin’s Fails, Falls & F-Ups Show, Dani said that her guardians clocked onto her penchant for animating things when she was 11 and then by 12 and 13, she was getting her career moving.
Her real beginnings in discovering her gift actually goes all the way back to when she was around five years old, when Dani would create stop motion animations with plushie toys.
By 14, she had Danimation up and running and gave thanks to her aunt and uncle for their support in helping her hone her “gift.”
Now, Dani teaches other people animation
These days, Dani lists her business achievements on her Danimation website. She’s edited and directed a number of TV shorts, per IMDb.
The company has produced nine animated shorts, a PSA, and music videos that have premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Danimaton has illustrated six children’s books, per its website.
She also shares on social media how she now speaks at events and teaches people animation now.
One of her co-stars, Abbey, said how Dani taught her animation. So, it seems she loves being able to share her skills with others.
Dani explains how she normally works a ‘9-5’ day shift, but if there’s a tight deadline or a big project, she’ll work all night.
She said: “I just came back from editing a huge project from the CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge and I was the editor for a short film that we created for a non-profit organisation called Friends of the LA River… our film is called Rewilding. I just edited it without any sleep at all for two days.”
Love on the Spectrum is available on Netflix now. For all the latest Netflix news, drops, quizzes and memes like The Holy Church of Netflix on Facebook.
