Love Is Blind’s Dave calls out Lauren’s ex for ‘psychotic behaviour’ and he’s really angry

Dave decided to call out Lauren’s ex on Love Is Blind, the man who pretty much got in the way of their relationship without ever having a part in it. Dave was not happy to find out Lauren had hooked up with someone he knows before the experiment, but has since learned a lot more than he expected to about the man in question.

Dave learned a lot more about Lauren’s ex after Love Is Blind wrapped up. Although the two had broken up, he now claims his relationship with Lauren was “sabotaged” by her ex, and their mutuals. He told People: “We’re like, we don’t even want to talk about this guy and give him the attention that he wants. Because he’s been literally planning this for a year.”
He added: “Plotting and planning this behind the scenes, and flat-out lying to people that know me specifically so I would hear about it. That’s literally psychotic behavior. He planted this entire story… Honestly, it’s embarrassing and it’s desperate for attention and it’s pathetic,” just weeks after Lauren’s ex decided to pretend he had filmed the show on Instagram.
Dave continued to say this former fling of Lauren’s planted stories into his sisters’ and friends’ heads. He said: “Watching what he’s doing right now is just pathetic. Me and Lauren have talked. We’re like, we don’t even want to talk about this guy and give him the attention that he wants […]. That’s not okay.”
Reality Shrine has contacted Lauren’s ex for comment.
He ‘regrets’ how things panned out on Love Is Blind
Having learned about Lauren’s ex since their break-up, Dave “regrets” how things turned out for them. He even said he’s “the one that got away” and said: “Throughout this entire past year, I still thought what I initially thought was the truth, and now I just feel like an idiot,” he admits. “I’ve apologized to Lauren so many times. I believed the people that he was telling all this stuff to, and I didn’t know what else to do.”
“I have this entirely different perspective and the way I’m seeing things,” he adds. “Because in that moment, when me and Lauren eventually don’t work out, and it’s mostly because of this guy, I’m just making the best judgment call I can in that time with the information that I have from people that I trust… There was no way I was going to spin that in her favor unfortunately at the time.”
