The Kardashians star’s most iconic relationship is undoubtedly with Cleveland Cavaliers basketball pro, Tristan Thompson. The two met in 2016, and the rest is history- literally!
After countless cheating scandals and fathering another child away from his relationship, Tristan was kicked to the curb for the last (and hopefully final) time.

The couple met in 2016
Tristan Thompson’s relationship with the middle Kardashian was drama-packed from the outset after he seemingly split up with his pregnant girlfriend, Jordan Craig.
Though both parties denied that they were together when Jordan was still in the picture, Khloe and Tristan were together three months before the birth of his first child. Even before Khloe, Tristan had seemingly moved on with Housewife Larsa Pippen.
In 2018, Jordan claimed that she was prescribed bed rest by her doctor after Tristan’s new relationship shed unwelcome light on her private life.
Nonetheless, Khloe and Tristan continued to live the loved-up life as they were pictured at locations in both LA and Cleveland. With a combined net worth of over $80 million, they enjoyed several sunny vacations before Khloe introduced him to her family in March 2017.
In December 2017, Khloe confirmed speculation that she was pregnant with her first baby.
She posted a lengthy statement to Instagram, a portion of which read: “My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do!”
Tristan Thompson’s first strike came in April 2018
Adoring posts and cute photos were soon cast in a devastating light as the first of Tristan Thompson’s affairs came to light in April 2018.
Not only was he pictured kissing an unnamed woman at a New York City club, but the basketball pro was seen packing on the PDA with numerous women at a hookah bar in Washington, D.C.
Amid the scandal, Khloe brought his second and her first child into the world. She named her True Thompson.
When fans called for Khloe to ditch the cheater, she angrily hit back on Twitter: “You have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even co-exist. I’m proud of my strength. I appreciate your opinion, and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.”
Strike two came with a friend of Kylie Jenner’s
In February 2019, just ten months after his first cheating scandals arose, Tristan was linked to Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods, who was said to be like a member of the family.
Jordyn and Tristan locked lips at an LA party, resulting in his first official breakup with Khloé Kardashian. At the time, Khloe allegedly spent Valentine’s Day alone as Tristan flirted his way across the city.

They rekindled their romance during the Covid-19 Pandemic
After being forced to quarantine together during the April 2020 start of the pandemic, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson considered expanding their family with a sibling for True. At this point, numerous sources confirmed they were back together.
In February 2021, Khloe said she was finally ready to unfreeze her embryos and have another baby. Unfortunately, just nine months after making the life-changing decision, Maralee Nichols gave birth to a second baby. Of course, she claimed Tristan was the father.
After demanding a paternity test, Tristan confirmed that he was the little tot’s father. He took the moment to apologize to Khloe for his actions in early 2022.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years,” he said on Instagram at the time. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
Throughout all of this, Khloe remained eerily calm as she focused on raising True and preparing the world for her second kid’s arrival. Her team announced her pregnancy in July 2022, which her own family had choice words about.
When watching the premiere of The Kardashians in October 2022, Khloe found herself unable to keep quiet as she watched Tristan talk about starting a family.
“I was just like, ‘This is so awkward.’ Because it’s like, ‘what a crock of sh**. What the f***? I believed you and I was listening to you and I was receiving everything you said. But you’re a f****** liar!'” she exclaimed.
As of late, the couple has remained cordial as they raise their kids.
