A pop culture commentator has shared evidence that the alleged Channing Tatum burner Instagram account isn’t actually him – or his mum, Kay Tatum. The whole situation unfolded over the weekend after eagle-eyed social media users spotted an Instagram account under the name Nonya Bidness – a play on the term ‘none of your business’. The account had been leaving snarky comments under posts from Deuxmoi about Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles, while also hyping up Channing. In one post of an interview with the actor, they replied, “He’s so genuine. No false pretences with this guy. Since then, netizens have been busy uncovering all of the account’s messages. Within hours, outlets reported that Channing had unfollowed the alleged burner page, and Nonya Bidness has since been deactivated. The Magic Mike actor has yet to publicly address the speculation, and some have shared the theory that it could be his mum. However, one TikToker believes she’s uncovered evidence that proves neither of them are behind it. Find you somethin’ safe to do,” Nonya Bidness wrote. As Steph explained, “ Channing Tatum was born in April. And no, his mother was not born in June. She was born in May. Some people thought it might be his mum.” But arguably the most significant findings come from Reddit user Tall_Membership2152, who carried out an open-source intelligence (OSINT) search on the account. This essentially involved digging through publicly available and archived internet records to trace the account’s history before the burner allegations emerged. They claim the account’s unique Instagram ID – which remains the same even if its username is changed – can be used to find older tagged posts associated with the account. Based on these posts, the Reddit user theorised that it may previously have been used as a Channing Tatum fan page. It is likely that a Channing Tatum fan page MAINTAINED the account and changed its purpose,” the Redditor wrote. “Going private and deleting all followers except for Channing’s. Why? Because the account owner is still a CT supporter who views the follow as valuable. Then: The account obviously engages with pop culture and snark posts because they are a fan.” Of course, until we get verification, this is a theory. And the Nonya Bidness account was created in 2020, where it’s had three different usernames. “When people started thinking it was Channing, they then removed Channing’s follow it looks like,” she continued. “Maybe they thought that would help the situation, but I think them deleting the follow is what actually made people believe it was Channing Tatum, if that’s the case.” Despite the evidence, some fans are still convinced it’s Channing’s account, with one sharing identical comments from both the actor and Nonya Bidness: “FAKE! I wish I was Channing.” However, others have claimed this is fake. For the most part, people are just here for the harmless tea and feel disappointed it’s likely not real. “No this has been the best celebrity gossip we’ve had for ages,” said one, while another commented, “Not me disappointed lmao.” Hopefully Channing himself will address the situation in the very near future.
