Here’s whether Drawn Together stars Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García secretly dated IRL

The chemistry between Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García in Prime Video’s new romance thriller Drawn Together is undeniable, but did the two stars actually date in real life?

In the Drawn Together film, Expósito plays Marfil Cortés, a wealthy heiress who gets a bodyguard, Sebastián Moore, played by García. What starts off as a pretty tense relationship soon turns into a full-on romance.

Naturally, people have been wondering if that chemistry was real off screen too.

So, were Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García actually dating?

Well, there definitely seemed to be something going on, even though neither star publicly confirmed they were a couple.

The rumours went viral in February 2025, when Spanish TV show Socialité showed footage of Expósito and García kissing at a nightclub in Madrid’s Chueca neighbourhood.

According to Telecinco’s report, a witness said the two were very affectionate and kept kissing throughout the night. Basically, they weren’t exactly trying to hide that they were into each other.

And it wasn’t just that one night. In April 2025, Diez Minutos published photos of Expósito and García together in Madrid. As reported by Pronto, they were spotted at the airport as they headed off for their Easter holidays. The report said they looked very close and showed plenty of “complicity” while waiting to check in.

HOLA also reported on them being seen together in Madrid.

But neither of them confirmed if they were ever actually dating.

So, when did they split?

By October 2025, reports in Spain said their relationship had ended. Telecinco reported that the programme En todas las salsas had spoken about their apparent split. Sources close to the actors had said that there had been “lots of chemistry” between them. They also claimed the pair had been very close while filming, saying they were “totally committed”.

But the same sources said the romance had apparently come to an end, saying, “They go home, and the love comes to an end.”

They also claimed Expósito had been living a “single life” during the summer.

Antena 3 reported that García was asked about Expósito again in March 2026, after she was rumoured to be dating French footballer Kylian Mbappé. He responded, “I just want her to be happy.”

Since early 2026, Expósito has been romantically linked to Mbappé. They have been photographed together on multiple occasions, although neither has formally confirmed the relationship.

In March, it was reported that Expósito and Mbappé had been seen together in Paris. Then in June, pictures of them on a romantic Ibiza getaway and them together on a yacht were shared.

As for García, there is no public confirmation that he is currently dating anyone.
