Robert Pattinson reveals why he wasn’t at Taylor Swift’s wedding with partner Suki Waterhouse

Whilst what felt like the entire celebrity world descended on New York for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, one very famous face was noticeably missing.

Robert Pattinson didn’t make it to the couple’s huge celebration, despite his fiancée Suki Waterhouse being on the guest list. After hearing what guests walked away with, it’s fair to say he had some regrets.

The actor revealed he missed the wedding because he was tied up with work commitments in London, balancing press for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey alongside filming The Batman: Part II.

Suki, meanwhile, was reportedly among the 1,000 guests at the wedding. She attended with singer-songwriter King Princess (whose real name is Mikaela Straus) and another friend, rather than going alone.

But it turns out Suki forgot to mention one pretty major detail when she got home.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the The Odyssey premiere on Monday, Robert was told by Kevin Frazier about the luxury giveaways guests received during the wedding celebrations, including Cartier watches, Chanel and Dior handbags, and even a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.

His response was immediate.

“They were giving away lots of stuff?” Pattinson exclaimed. “What did I get?”

The luxury prizes weren’t the only keepsakes handed out either. Wedding guests also received an embroidered ivory handkerchief finished with lace trim, featuring the couple’s “TT” monogram, the wedding date and location. Along the bottom was a stitched lyric from Taylor Swift’s Blank Space: “So it’s gonna be forever…”, as shown in an Instagram post shared by Maren Morris.

So whilst Robert Pattinson may have had a very good excuse for skipping one of the biggest celebrity weddings in recent memory, it definitely sounds like he missed out on more than just the ceremony.
