Where tf is From season 4 episode 6? Fans are spiralling after *that* cliffhanger

Following an almighty cliffhanger, you were no doubt counting down the days until From season four episode six landed on MGM+ – so where the heck is it?

So far, the penultimate chapter of the horror series has seen Fromville torn as the Man in Yellow wreaks havoc on the residents, having taken on a new form as Sophia, a pastor’s daughter.

Last episode, the group at the lake – Donna, Tabitha, Ellis, Ethan, and a couple of townsfolk – dragged what they thought were corpses from the water, only to discover they were terrifying life-sized dolls.

Things only got worse when the figures came to life that night, attacking the group inside the cabins and brutally killing Roger. Tabitha realised the dolls were tied to childhood memories she had buried deep inside her mind.

Elsewhere, Jade took mushrooms with Boyd acting as his guide in the hopes of finally unlocking answers about the town. What followed was a horrifying vision quest involving spiders, dead children, and glimpses of his past lives.

We found out Jade and Tabitha’s former selves were killed by the townsfolk rather than the monsters, as the previous locals blamed them for the child sacrifices.

Meanwhile, Mari began experiencing disturbing visions linked to the dungeon and the voices of people who died in Fromville, claiming there is “something ancient” feeding on the residents’ suffering even after death.

The episode ended with Jade snapping back to reality in the sheriff’s station and telling Boyd he finally understood what they have to do to go home – and how to save the children. 

Unfortunately, that’s exactly where the episode ended, meaning anticipation was sky high for the next installment. 

When is From season 4 episode 6 coming out?

Unfortunately, From season four episode six, titled ‘The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter’, won’t be dropping on MGM+ until Sunday, May 31st. 

Since the horror series follows a regular weekly schedule, fans were expecting it to drop on Sunday, May 24th, but there’s been a one-week delay.

The good news is the hiatus was intentional, meaning we will definitely be getting episode six next week. 

The scheduling gap aligns with Memorial Day weekend in the US, when streaming platforms and networks often tweak release schedules due to lower viewership and holiday programming changes.

If you’re watching on the linear MGM+ channel, you can watch new episodes at 9pm ET. Streaming depends on whether you’re subscribed directly or via platforms like Amazon Prime, but you can expect it to drop around 12am ET. 

From fans aren’t too happy about the delay

Even though the delay was planned, From fans aren’t too happy with the change, especially since season four episode five ended with the cliffhanger. 

Taking to Reddit, one wrote, “This is so crazy, why do they have to postpone the premier of episode 6 to 5/31 and leave us hanging 5/24? God I hate when shows do this for no reason, now I have to suffer and wait another week.”

“It’s for a reason… Memorial Day weekend,” said another, to which a third replied, “Who cares about Memorial Day weekend. From is far from the hottest show on TV and their viewership would not drastically change.”

“So frustrating,” added a fourth, while a fifth chimed in, “I was waiting for this episode.”

In a separate thread, one fan shared a screenshot of Sophia saying, “This is when they tear themselves apart.” Alongside the pic, they joked, “The cast watching us wait two weeks for a new episode.”

Others are taking a more constructive approach to the missing episode, with multiple fans suggesting to watch Widow’s Bay.

As said by one, “To help with the no From this week blues… Seriously… I’m not kidding, if you haven’t watched it already, do it! 15/10, no notes, best TV show I’ve seen in a long time. 

“I’ve been a huge From fan all the way since season 1 and Widow’s Bay is on a whole other level… SO much better than From so far…. instead of no episode this week due to the holiday, Widow’s Bay is dropping TWO episodes, so we get to enjoy a double feature.”
