VisionQuest actor Ruaridh Mollica has been branded the “new Tom Holland” online after appearing to let slip not one but two spoilers about the Marvel series. It’s no wonder Marvel gives out fake scripts to the cast given how much Holland let slip in the past. Back in 2017, he revealed there would be a Spider-Man trilogy before it was officially announced. And on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he accidentally confirmed that Spidey would go to space in Avengers: Infinity War, having initially assumed the scene was from a fake script. But perhaps his most unfortunate slip-up was when Holland reportedly spoiled Spider-Man’s fate in Infinity War for an entire cinema audience after mistakenly believing they’d already watched the film. In the end, the Russo brothers started giving him fake scripts and scenes to avoid any future mishaps. As Joe Russo told BBC Radio Scotland back in 2018, “Tom’s had a couple of slip ups in the past, he’s on the black list now. We wrote fake scripts, we wrote a really fake script for Tom Holland.” But now, maybe Ruaridh Mollica is here to take his place. Ruaridh Mollica may have just leaked two major VisionQuest spoilers in two days The actor is essentially playing Tommy Maximoff in possession of Thomas Shepherd’s body in VisionQuest. And as you’ll know, Thomas Shepherd is the superhero Speed. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ruaridh Mollica (@ruaridhmollica) While we know he’s set to appear as Speed in the series, we didn’t know how his costume looked. But that all changed when Mollica posted himself with the Tommy Maximoff Funko Pop, showing his live-action final look. The Funko Pop shows Tommy with white hair wearing green goggles and a matching green jacket, making his superhero look pretty faithful to Speed’s appearance in the Marvel comics. Mollica himself even acknowledged the fact that it’s a risky post, writing, “Swipe to the end to see a SNEAK PEEK of my Tommy Maximoff Funko-Pop (probably not allowed).” But it’s far from the only potential spoiler he’s leaked this week. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor appeared to accidentally reveal that Joe Locke will be reprising his role as Billy Maximoff, aka Wiccan, in VisionQuest. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Entertainment Tonight (@entertainmenttonight) The pair previously starred together in the West End play Clarkston, but while discussing their friendship, Mollica let slip that they’d already worked together on Marvel material. “We actually shot our MCU stuff before we did the play, which was amazing. And so we met for a coffee beforehand to get to know each other and we were just so excited,” he said. “We became such good friends instantly. And then we did a play on the West End together and had this big secret that slowly started to leak as we were doing it. And it was fun, people would be doing secret MCU fan art at the stage door.” We already suspected Locke would appear in VisionQuest, especially after Agatha All Along ended with Billy setting off to find his missing twin brother. Locke was also spotted at the VisionQuest premiere. But Marvel has yet to officially confirm his involvement in the series, and Mollica’s comments have now left fans saying he’s the new Tom Holland. Ruaridh may have looser lips than tom holland and mark ruffalo bruh 😭😭😭 https://t.co/uXocsOik53 — bray🖤 (@getouxs) October 15, 2026 As one said in response to the Funko Pop reveal, “Paul said in an interview Ruaridh is like the next Tom Holland spoiling stuff. I was confused what he meant. Now I get it.” Another wrote on X, “Ruaridh may have looser lips than Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo bruh… In 2 days he’s leaked his own Funko Pop AND Billy’s inclusion in the show.” “Tom Holland your crown as spoiler king is now passed on to Ruaridh,” added a third. “Can’t believe we’re getting Billy and Tommy reunion soon.” And a fourth quipped, “Tom Holland and Ruaridh is going to give Marvel HEADACHES!!! I need to see them in the same interview fighting the urge to spill.” For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page.
