Inside Tobey Maguire and Ice Spice’s huge age gap as pair spotted ‘kissing’ at party

Months after his rumoured relationship with a 20 year old influencer, Tobey Maguire was spotted getting close to Ice Spice, with a photo appearing to show them kissing at a party – and the internet has thoughts. 

Maguire’s best known for playing Peter Parker in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films, but recently his dating life has been hitting the headlines. Back in February, he was spotted with model and content creator Mishka Silva, sparking rumours the pair were dating.

But on Thursday, July 2nd, while at billionaire Michael Rubin’s famous White Party at the Hamptons, he was photographed with rapper and songwriter Ice Spice. 

Through a balcony gate, the pair are seen talking, while another picture shows what looks like them kissing. While much of the conversation is centered around the unexpected matching, there’s also the age gap. 

Why is everyone talking about the age gap?

Tobey Maguire is 51 years old, while Ice Spice is 26 years old, making him 25 years her senior. 

Although their kiss hasn’t been confirmed by either of them, spectators are noticing, especially after Tobey was spotted on a date with Mishka Silva, who’s three decades younger than the Spider-Man star. 

As said by one on X, “Ice Spice and Tobey Maguire getting cozy does make for the most random celebrity pairing of 2026, especially with the 25-year age gap and all the Spider-Man puns flooding replies.”

“Tobey Maguire (51) and Ice Spice (26)? The age gap is massive,” wrote another, while a third added, “The 25 year age gap has entered the chat… not even Marvel could’ve predicted this.”

A fourth chimed in, “Ice Spice being my age and Tobey Maguire being my moms age.” And a fifth said, “There’s a 25-year-old age gap between Tobey Maguire and Ice Spice and THAT is what is the most concerning to me about this. That’s almost as old as…as…as Ice Spice.”

As said, even though it’s not confirmed, others are just shocked by the unlikely couple. “This party always creates the most random celebrity pairings,” said one. 

However, not everyone’s convinced by the photos, including this person who said, “Visualizing the level of reaching required to see a romance through three layers of security blinds. It is literally a loud Hamptons party. People have to lean in within two inches of each other just to ask where the bathroom is. Let them live.”

Tobey Maguire’s dating history

Before the recent rumours, Maguire was married to jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, who he met in 2003 while filming Seabiscuit. They tied the knot in 2007, welcomed daughter Ruby in 2006 and son Otis in 2009, before announcing their separation in 2016. 

Although their divorce was finalised in 2020, the pair have remained close while co-parenting their children. Since then, Maguire has been linked to several younger women, including model Tatiana Dieteman.

More recently, it was Mishka after they were spotted together at the Super Bowl, although neither she nor Maguire confirmed they were in a relationship.
