Shortly after Uwe Boll announced hopes to make Citizen Vigilante 2, Andrew Tate’s brother Tristan Tate has chimed in, saying he’ll star in it for free if he has to. The first Citizen Vigilante dropped earlier this month before landing on Amazon Prime Video in the US, where it’s swiftly become the number one film in the region. If you’re wondering why it’s controversial, there are a number of reasons, the first being that it’s directed by Uwe Boll, a man who’s been dubbed the “world’s worst director” due to his critically panned films. Then there’s its lead star Armie Hammer, who was cancelled several years back after facing allegations of sexual assault and leaked texts in which he described graphic sexual and cannibalistic fantasies. Then there’s the plot of the film itself, which centres on a man named Sanders, a wealthy American businessman turned vigilante who targets violent criminals and corrupt judges. At its core, Citizen Vigilante is fueled by anti-immigration sentiments, with Boll himself claiming to Hollywood Elsewhere that if Germany doesn’t “reduce Islamic migrants… they will take over in around 30 years and then will start killing everybody who is not a convert to Islam.” Following concerns it may incite copycat attacks in real life, the movie was denied an age certification in Germany, effectively banning it from being distributed and screened in Boll’s home country. It received a personal endorsement from Elon Musk, who shared it in full on X for streaming over the weekend for 48 hours only. Now, a Tate brother is backing its message. Tristan Tate asks fans to ‘spam’ Citizen Vigilante producer During his latest Emergency Meeting podcast episode, Tristan Tate said the Citizen Vigilante producer shared a clip from a previous episode in which he reviewed the film. 🚨Tristan Tate publicly asks his fans to spam the producer of Citizen Vigilante until he gets a cameo in part 2. 😂 "I'd do it for free. My own time. My own money. I'll pay my own flights." "He has all of the time I could possibly offer." 💀 pic.twitter.com/ld1X8ubrih — The Tate Motive (@thetatemotive) June 29, 2026 “I commented underneath that I would love to be in a cameo in the next one. I’d do it for free. No problem. My own time, my own money. I’ll pay for my own flights,” he said. “But I’d like to be in Citizen Vigilante 2.” Tate then made a request to his friends or fans: “I would like you to contact that man and spam him with a clip of me saying, ‘I’d like to be in the movie.’ He has all of the time that I could possibly offer… It was 10 out of 10.” His call to action arrives shortly after Boll said, “Keep watching Citizen Vigilante and we can start shooting Part 2 soon,” alongside a made-up image of a sequel cover showing Armie Hammer’s Sanders behind the proposed title: Citizen Vigilante 2: The End of Somali Scams. Boll also spoke to Variety following news that its distributor Quiver Distribution had bagged worldwide rights, aside from Germany, the UK, and other territories where it’s yet to receive an age rating. When asked if Musk had permission to share the film on X, the director replied, “Basically, yes… There is, of course, a good and a bad side of the X posting. “The question you have to evaluate is: Is that bringing more money in the end, or is that costing me a lot of money? You know, you get a lot of PR, but you don’t get a lot of money. So, we will figure that out in the next four or six weeks.” For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page.
