Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Nicholas Brendon passed away earlier this year, with his loved ones noting his “passion” for acting, painting, and art. His family announced in March: “We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon. He passed in his sleep of natural causes. Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and for the characters he brought to life over the years. In recent years Nicky has found his passion in painting and art. “Nicky loved to share his enthusiastic talent with his family, friends and fans. He was passionate, sensitive, and endlessly driven to create. Those who truly knew him understood that his art was one of the purest reflections of who he was.” Credit: 20th Century Fox Though Nicholas Brendon was by no means poor, his net worth at the time of his passing is widely debated. Some publications report it being in the $300k ballpark, but others have suggested it’s closer to $3 million. Nicholas Brendon’s will was submitted this week On Monday, Nicholas Brendon’s twin brother, Kelton ‘Kel’ Schultz, submitted an alleged handwritten will to the courts. It was only 11 words, and it was soon published by TMZ. “My will. Sarah gets nothing Kel gets everything. He can figure it out,” it read. Sarah and Nicholas were in a very private relationship, with reports suggesting that they first began dating in 2019. By 2021, when Nicholas was experiencing health issues, she was by his side through spinal surgeries, heart attacks, and recovery. It’s believed that they separated somewhere between 2023 and 2025, but details are incredibly scarce.
